Welcome to the New Pack This Journal Website

Well hello again! Thank you for joining me here at the Pack This Journal blog and our brand new website, launched in 2020! I’m so happy to have you here to continue to share with you my thoughts on all things travel, journaling, living more presently, and remembering the little things in life. In a digital world, far too often we forget about the tangible items that are right in front of us. That is what the Pack This Journal is for: to remember the little things that you collect from every trip, adventure or day-to-day experience you have.

Why a new website?

When I started Pack This Journal back in 2016, I never dreamed of where this would take me. Different versions, publications, a creative outlet like i’ve never had before. It’s all a dream come true really, but I know 2020 is the time to take it to the next level. The old website, created by me on Squarespace, was easy and did the trick. But I don’t feel it exemplified what I am trying to do. Make travel more enjoyable for everyone! When your website is hard to navigate and buy from, how is that enjoyable for you? And I was ready for some clear aesthetics and easy navigation. Now that you’re here, I encourage you to click around and see what you find and maybe look for a few things that you like about the website. Some of my favorite new features include the media kit, the new cart design, and the plane animation on every page 🙂

As a reminder, what is Pack This Journal?

As written in the Pack This Journal how it works section, travels are packed full of little, fleeting moments. We need tangible items  to reflect on our adventures, and remind us of our investment; in the experiences that make up a life well lived.

That is why you have the Pack This Journal. In one journal, you can keep your words and your things. You can pack it full of whatever you want, and the memories that are attached to specific items. Use the pen to write your words, and the included glue dots to add your items to the journal.

The pages offer space to write, doodle, glue, and track every moment of your trip. The lines are there to keep your organized, but disregard them if you need. This is your journal, do with it what you want.

I encourage you to collect everything you see: the card from your favorite restaurant, the receipt from the bus you took outside the city, the plane ticket that took you exactly where you needed to go. Everything has a memory attached to it, so use it.

Do we have a schedule here?

In 2020 i want to continue to be consistent with writing and share weekly new content including videos, printables, how-to and more. I also have a really fun course hopefully coming out in May! I truly can’t wait to share it with you.

Cheers to 2020!

If it isn’t clear, I am SO very excited to see where 2020 takes Pack This Journal. I have some big goals and big dreams (which I plan to share!) and I hope you enjoy the ride along with me! Cheers to a wonderful year ahead!

PS: looking for my website designer? I can’t recommend her enough! Gillian Sarah, you’re a genius!
